"I enjoyed this internship because it gave me a chance to interview and connect with many faculty and students on campus that I would have otherwise never met because I am not a BSOS student. I also enjoyed writing pieces that allowed me to be more creative than I can be when following specific guidelines for a story for class." - Dara Gold, BSOS Communications Intern (2013)

"I was able to interact with marketing and communications leaders from across UMD and I was given the opportunity to contribute to the development of new strategies used to improve the centralization and consistency of University marketing and communications efforts." - Kelsey Klein (2014)
